It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the 14th ASEAN ORL Head & Neck Congress in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. It promises to be one of the most exciting meetings within the fields of Otorhinolaryngology. This meeting is combined with our 31st Malaysian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists Head & Neck Surgeons (MSO-HNS) Annual General Meeting and 3rd Malaysian International Otorhinolaryngologists Head & Neck Conference.

This bi-annual conference will give us an outstanding opportunity to get an exceptionally broad exposure to all aspects of otorhinolaryngology. My committee will assemble a programme that provides signifcant depth as well as a broad understanding of the more recent advances within the specialty.		 img


This meeting will feature plenary discussions, debates, mini-seminars and allow interactions with our leading international faculty. Pre and post congress workshops will also be organised in otology, rhinology, sleep, allergy and vertigo, just to name a few.

However, I also hope that you will also find time to enjoy both the social events that we provide within the meeting and the magnificent "Cat City" as Kuching is known for. The Gala Dinner is a customary event during this meeting and not to be missed as it parades the cultural performances of all ten ASEAN countries. In addition, I hope that you will take time to visit the many attractions Kuching and Borneo Sarawak has to offer and I am sure that you will be enchanted with her natural exotic beauty.
